Students will create an A-Z through History Journal that focuses on a certain letter each week. Students will complete the following tasks all connected to the letter for the week: creating goals, researching a state/ capital and proving interesting facts about them, making the state and capital on a map relative to their current location, determining latitude and longitude of the place, writing a biography on the historical figure of the week, writing in the genre (persuasive, narrative, poetry, research, descriptive) of the week related to an historical event, researching and reporting on current events and their significance, and evaluating goals.

Includes teacher guide, peer assessment grade sheet, teacher/student notes, lots of resources, images, and websites.
