Cat got your tongue? In this art project, students will investigate commonly used idioms, their origins, and their literal meanings. Students will be using the information they learned to create an information plaque for their artwork. Their artwork will feature the figurative meaning of the idiom they have chosen. Students will learn about art of cartooning and the famous cartoonist Charles Schultz. This project will culminate in a classroom museum exhibit featuring a different idiom art piece from each student in the style of Charles Shultz and cartoonism.
