    : Photo/Video Attachment Malfunction :

    Afternoon Edmodo Colleagues,

A number of students, and myself are unable to attach photos or videos within the Edmodo app. When attempting to do so, the app malfunctions and closes. All devices are updated to the latest software, 5.2.1. Therefore, I am unsure as to the reason for this technical error. Any recommendation for addressing this issue? Thank you in advance for your support and clarity.

    • Mrs. Knutson - I think you need to turn the ipad and have it vertical.

How can I get a report on how my students did on an individual snapshot? What I see is cumulative results?
    Thanks

Hey, I raised this question before but couldn't find a satisfying answer then. Now, in the hope of finding a better solution, I am asking the same question one more time:

I and my students are using Edmodo app on our mobile devices and we are very happy to communicate on it. However, in order to do things better, I believe getting notifications as you do from whatsapp or facebook apps can help us communicate in a better way. Is there such a feature already or is there anything to do?

    Thanks in advance.
    • Mr. Mason - I completely understand! What you are asking for would be a great upgrade to the Edmodo app, for sure!

      • Mr. Çelik - Finally I got it. Actually it has already been in practice. I just figured out. Here is the solution: On your Edmodo app, click on notifications on top right corner and again on top right corner and click on which updates you want to get.
Here is the warning: You can enable this feature only on app, settings you access through your browser don't allow you to do this.

      • Mr. Mason - Thanks, Mr. Çelik, for this update. I made the necessary adjustments, and I too, man now getting notified through the app. This is great. Thanks again!

      • Georgia Koepke - can I link symbaloo to here and how?

      • Mrs. Hubler - Without the username and password, I don't think a link would work. It would just go to the log-in screen.

      • Mr. Mason - Yes you can, but to view the Edmodo Apps group, you'll need to login. So, simply add this URL to a new Symbaloo tile: https://www.edmodo.com/home#/publisher?uid=69... Then, when you access it, you'll either a) be directed right to the Edmodo Apps group (if you're already logged into Edmodo), or b) be prompted to login, then be redirected to the Edmodo Apps group after successful authentication.
        Hope that helps!

I am also having the issue that I cannot grade my students from the Progress screen. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the app, and my operating system is up-to-date. I have attached a screen shot of what I see. Please help me fix this because it is very tedious to grade through the Internet browser on an iPad.
    • Amanda Zeligs - Dear Mrs. Coble. Thanks for your message. I am sorry to hear that you are encountering this issue. It looks like you are holding your iPad horizontally. At this time, it is not possible to grade assignments horizontally. This is a known issue that we are working on resolving. For the time being, I suggest that you hold this iPad vertically. I hope this helps, and please let me know if there is anything else I can do :).

I have found that students are able to send document attachments to me using iPads but when I try to access them on an iPad I am able to see the post but am unable to see the attachment and have to use a computer. Any advice appreciated!
    • Ms. Hills - If your students are sending these from Pages, make sure they select word or PDF for the format. If sent in the Pages format the files are compressed and you can't access them.
