When I assign a video or article to read to my class via edmodo my student's passwords don't work. I have to reset it every assignment/day. Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure if you can use this, but here's a great resource for students with or without learning disabilities with the writing process. It's perfect for GAFE schools.

Here we are teaching "Taco Cart", by Dan Meyer during our seminar class. We use the lessons as whole group instruction and small group stations. The class takes place once a week in our auditorium. We have 65 gifted students and 2 teachers . We like to alternate Dan Meyer lessons and Hungry Teacher lessons with our classes.
For more information on Dan Meyer, go to: http://blog.mrmeyer.com/

      • Mrs. Victory - Read books to her repetitively and point to the words as you read. Occassionally stop on a word and sound it out. Do not pressure her!

    • Mr. McCormick - I would ask first, are we talking about her reading and speaking in English or Urdu or both? Either way, I would start by making sure she has access to native speakers in either or both languages. Reading to her in those languages, and provide some children's television with native speakers as well. I brought my daughter here from Italy and she mastered English in about 18 months from age 4-6, but we chose to speak only in English during those months. We also used a number of Leap Frog videos and language games to supplement what we did to home school her.
