I tried the "Edmodo this Glog" link in Glogster Edu to post a glog in one of my Edmodo groups. I clicked on that link and then once in Edmodo I typed the note, selected the appropriate Edmodo group and clicked send. When I clicked on the link to the glog in the Edmodo group, it goes to a weird menu screen (screen shot below) instead of the glog. Has anyone experienced this? I tried the process several times, but got the same result. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks!
    • Mr. Dienstmann - I had a different kind of result, but for my class it didn't work either. Instead, we just copied the link of the Glog and pasted it into an Edmodo post.

    • Mrs. Sandora - Thanks. I will do that if I want to post to Edmodo in the future. For this time, I abandoned the use of Edmodo and embedded all of the glogs into a wiki.

    • Mr. Kirsch - We have too. I utilize the regular Glogster and copy the embed code and paste it into our Edublogs.

    Please help me!
I need your help. I have submitted an application to attend SMART's Summit this summer (a week long professional development for educators) One of the requirements was to submit a video. The videos are now up and can be voted on once a day. I would really appreciate it if you would vote for me. The top 25 videos get in. Others will be based on application and video.

The link for the videos is http://shout.lt/qMPN

It is listed under Jennifer Thornsberry. The link works best in Chrome, IE or safari. Do not use Firefox.

I appreciate you help. Plus if you want to vote every day you can.

Having issues with the page not showing up fully when they first create a glog. Zooming in or out doesn't fix the cut-off page issue. Reloading the page doesn't help either. Any suggestions?

For such a small class, I let my students create their own accounts. Two of them tried to log into their accounts this morning unsuccessfully. They changed their passwords but they did not receive the e-mail with that information. I tried to change their passwords myself by accessing their accounts, however it did not work either. What can they do? Can they still access their glogs with a new account?

    Thank you very much,

    Pam Thomas

      • Mrs. Yakes - If you are a Chrome user, and you log in to Chrome, there is an app for Glogster Edu. My kids go straight there and that avoids the problem of them trying to log in to the non edu glogster site. If you have set up a classroom and you are the teacher account, you should be able to reset a student's password.

      • Ms. Bates - I keep trying to add sub accounts using a csv file. I go through each step and the verification works fine, but I keep getting this message:
        "Glogster EDU new subaccounts failure:
We were unable to create students for your account.
        Please, try again later."

I have tried different computers at different times of the day. I get the same message. What is going wrong?

Is there some reason why my Glog wouldn't "show" on my Google site? I copied the embed code and pasted it in to the html editor. I can see it appear there but when I save it and view, there is nothing on the page.
    • Ms. Charlton - I know when I embedded a Symbaloo, it had to do with the Java. I had to click on the shield in the browser to unblock it. Worth a try.

I am unable to edit a Glog on my iPad. If I choose edit, the screen comes up blank. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could use Glogster on our iPads? I have tried the app, but have found the same issues plus the "front page" includes inappropriate images for my students...

I am having two very unique problems, though it's my third year of using Glogster and I thought I could trouble shoot quite well.

    1. A couple of students cannot see the right side of their Glog when editing. It doesn't matter what computer they are on, it cuts off their Glog at the left edge of the "save" button. It has happened several days in a row for these students. Nothing to do with screen resolution, etc, and they are able to see their Glogs fine when in preview mode

    2. Two students cannot log into their account--it says they have an error on username or password, but noth are correct.I have isolated this problem to laptop use (though tried several laptops)--when they log in on a desktop, it is fine. Why would that be?

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can provide!

Is there a way for a student to submit a glog to a project if it was not created with the pre-loaded project template? I told my students they could use a different template for their project, but now their glog is not "associated" with the project. Is there a workaround for this?

I am trying to use the "edmodo this glog" feature on a "public for all" glog. The glog link does appear in my post, however, it opens to a separate pop-up window, yet NEVER loads the glog. I just get a white screen.

Next I tried the "embed this glog" feature and tried to copy the embed code and paste it into the post. The same thing happens! I'm trying to have students post their glogs (or post them for them) but nothing seems to work. I can't even use the embed codes on my class website. PLEASE HELP!

    Hello,

I'm under a free trial and trying to evaluate whether or not I want to shell out the cash for a paid educator account. I love what Glogster EDU provides, but I'm having trouble with the "Edmodo this glog" feature.

In Chrome, when I embed a glog using the Edmodo button, the glog shows up, but when I try to open it, I just get the swirling O and it never opens. I am, however, able to embed the embed code as a link and see it that way. In IE, neither of the above works, even after I go into Internet Options/Security/Custom Level and disable the XSS filter. I just get a broken pop-up window.

Which brings me to my next concern: where's the user support for questions such as these? Is there support once I subscribe?

Thanks for any info you all have!

Is there any way to take advantage of the $20 for a year offer you had in October? I just read about it! I used Glogster in the past at another school and loved it, but we had problems with things slowing down and locking up when I took the whole class to the lab to work on their glogs, so I never signed up for premium. While it may have been an issue with the network at the school, I'd hate to pay $95 for something I won't be able to use fully...

      • Theresa Frame - Thank you! It's a good deal, too. I am going to sign on at school and see how it goes-- but things always seem to slow down when I have the whole class "glogging." Otherwise, it's totally worth the subscription fee, especially at this rate :)

    • Glogster EDU - Ctrl-V (or CMD-V) on mac allows you to past text. Is this not working for some reason?
Yes, text docs can be attached in most common formats for Word and Open Office.

    • Glogster EDU - The attachments option is not working? Are you using Glogster EDU Premium? If you are and it's still not available, that may be an issue for customer care to take a look at those license settings, or advise you on the best format.
