Looking for some advice: We are wanting to try something like this: http://recklessvswreckless.blogspot.com/2015/...
    with 8th graders.
Does anyone use something similar to this? Clearly this is for college, but definitely hits on some of the problems we want to remedy in 8th grade.
    Questions/Issues:
How do you track this for 150 kids in a classroom that is shared with a traveling teacher?
How do you track this without making yourself insane?

Hi Folks, Some of you might have an interest in our submission to Digital School of the Year (Ireland). It's an informative 14 page doc plus short video. Too large to attach so it's shared in GD - click below
Feel free to share with anyone that may benefit from it.

I need a software to make quizzes and use them not on line. Is it possible? Someone told me about hotpotatoes, is it true? Thanks in advance.

    Fellow Educators,

I was hoping that you could help me with something. For the past six months or so, I have been working with an amazing group of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students after school to teach them the basics of computer science (coding). While this was originally planned to be a six week long course, their excitement and enthusiasm has carried it on throughout multiple quarters of our school year (these students even want to help teach other students next school year). They have completed two courses via code.org and are nearly ready to start a third one! They love sharing some of the things they create within these courses on Edmodo! However, they are also ready to take their learning to the next level, which is using what they know to program robots!

Below you will find a link to a DonorsChoose fundraising project. Please take the time to read more about this amazing group and help us reach our goal, whether it is through a donation or by helping spread the word about our project. Donations are tax-deductible, and if you donate within the next 5 days and use the promo code SPARK, your donation will be matched up to $100! Donations are also automatically set to donate 15% to DonorsChoose. If you would like the full donation to go to our project, there is an option to change it! Thank you in advance for your support!
