Is there any way we could have shared StudyBlue accounts so that students can collaborate on studying and add flashcards to the same set?
    • StudyBlue.com - Mrs. Wild – for now, that's not something that we offer, but the idea is quite good. We plan to continue working on collaborative creation, but can't promise any dates.
One thing that works to accomodate a similar activity is to ask students to all create decks individually, then add their classmates' decks to a folder. They can click to "Study the Folder", which starts a study session with every card from every deck in the folder.

    • John Cluett - Hi Mrs Wild & StudyBlue
Could studyblue and edmodo integrate [20 million edmodo users].
Edcanvas [now Blendspace] interact in an integrated manner really well and you can see your canvas opup in the edmodo window.
Any chance StudyBlue could do the same.
Seamless is awesome for us overworked teachers

    • StudyBlue.com - @John, thanks for the request – it's an idea we revisit frequently here at SB. I'll have to take a look at the Blendspace integration to get a sense of what you're recommending.
We're all ears for specific advice on what you're looking for in the integration! Thanks much.

Is there anyway that studyblue can become an app on edmodo? I'd love for my students to submit their flashcards to me like an assignment which I can grade and put into my edmodo gradebook.
    • Sr. Sofronas - Please do!

      • Sra. Vargas - I would like to start using Studyblue.com with my students. Can someone please tell me how does it work?

        • 10 de November, 2012
      • Sra. Howell - Mrs. Vargas- I have my students set up their own accounts (which requires an e-mail). At first, I create the flashcards for them, and share the link with students via Edmodo. All students have to do is click on that link, which sends them to a sign-in page on StudyBlue. Then, they click on 'Save To', which puts these flashcards into their own backpack (upper left corner of page).
I think if you are signed up as a teacher with a class of students, you don't have to go through this process. But I haven't had time to figure out how to do it that way,

      • Sra. Pereira - Greetings!

Is there a way to embed StudyBlue cards? Either onto Edmodo or a website?

        Thanks!

        • 11 de October, 2012
      • Sra. Howell - Yes...copy and paste the link to the StudyBlue flash cards. You get the link through the SHARE option on StudyBlue. Students can then open up the flash cards and save them into their own backpacks on StudyBlue.

Do students need an email account to use StudyBlue?
    • Sra. Kapinos - Good question! Can I add to it? I was looking and it looks like they do. Could we use the dummy google accounts, with studyblue if our students are too young to have an email?

      • 3 de October, 2012
    • Sra. Howell - You can set up teacher accounts.

Hello All, I am wondering if anybody has ideas on how to introduce technology into a class that is mostly social/emotional and therapeutic in nature. I teach a blend of Psychology/Empathy Training and Character Education to at risk high school students. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
