I installed SlideGo for my middle school technology students after a test run on my account that worked fine. I want my students to login using SlideGo accounts rather than existing email and social media (that is the reason I've selected Edmodo for use in my classroom. Every student created an account and attempted to login and go a "login failed" message. Why is that?
    • SlideGo - Dear Mrs Goodwin
There shouldn't be any log in needed for students (they only need to log in to Edmodo). I can't find out yet why auto-login to SlideGo desn't work for your student accounts (they worked fine for other Edmodo students). Unfortunately the login process is done from Edmodo side I will have to ask Edmodo for support and will inform you once it is rectified.

      • SlideGo - Dear Mrs Goodwin,
The login problem for students have been fixed. It was due to a mistake from our server that expected an unavailable info from Edmodo. I am sorry for the error and thank you for your patience. I hope you find SlideGo useful and look forward to receiving more feedbacks from yourself and your students as you start using the website.

      • Ms. King - Why are you allowing decks with nudity, alcohol, and other inappropriate topics within the Edmodo app? Shouldn't you have an edu version for your product? These decks are highly inappropriate for the K-12 students who use Edmodo. I can see the value of your app for education but will not be using it until I'm assured that my students will be protected from images that they should not see. I hope this issue is addressed immediately. I would love students to use an app within Edmodo to make great presentations. I especially appreciate that your app has been made available more...

    • SlideGo - We are sorry for the inconvenience. The content you referred to were created by other Edmodo students (maybe from hospitality study), therefore we didn't realize the inappropriateness at first. We have removed these contents and will find a safer way to share users' content with general audience. Thank you for your feedback.

I downloaded slidego editor, but I can get it to do anything, I cant type text in it, upload images, nothing What am I doing wrong.
    • SlideGo - To type text, first click the PLUS sign on the top bar to insert a shape. You can choose different shapes from the list. For example, select rectangle and drag your mouse on the slide to draw it out. Then select the rectangle and start typing text to it.
To insert images, click PLUS then select the media tab. You can upload from computer, or enter the URL from another website.
If you are still unable to do these tasks, let us know again to troubleshoot.

Do you know Powerpoint? Just apply the same knowledge to SlideGo Editor to build your lessons. Start with some easy functions like text and shape drawing, slide transition, etc Then make it more interactive with triggers and add-ons. Advanced users can create macros to make full-featured games and quizzes.
