And isn't this an amazing student/teacher contributed video to Carolina Classrooms? It aired with the latest episode, but we think it's worth watching on its own. This student-produced video tells the story of Ms. Susan Turner's Biology II class. In Ms. Turner's class, instead of the standard lab write-up, students use their MacBooks and classroom Hovercams to create "dissection documentaries." This video was compiled by Spartanburg High School senior Asia Boyd, with videos and pictures by Mr. Adam Babcock, Technology Integration Specialist at SHS.
The latest Carolina Classrooms is now online. We’re celebrating South Carolina Teachers and feature the five finalists for the SC Teacher of the Year Award, while sharing their passion for teaching and talking about the changes and challenges in education. We even get a glimpse behind-the-scenes to see what makes these educators successful as we visit their classrooms!
