When creating assignments and trying to select individuals from a class, I can only select one student at a time and then have click on the class again and select another student. This is proving very tedious for what I thought would be easy differentiation. Is there something I am doing wrong? Why can't I select multiple students when opting for 'select students'? Thanks!

When I try to view my students assignment progress, all I am getting is a blank page. I need to see which students are completing their assignments. I've been able to access this all of this school year until now. When I click on it now, all I get is a blank screen. I've tried on my iPad and on my desktop computer.
    • Mrs. Roberts - The reports have been loading very slowly and often not at all. Some help or update would be appreciated here as well.

How do you delete a student?
    • Mrs. Maxwell - I have NoRedInk separate from Edmodo so maybe it is a different process. Try logging in through the website instead of through Edmodo.

      • Mrs. Schoch - I went to the website, but my classes are last year's classes. I can clearly see how to manage students there. Darn!

      • Mrs. Maxwell - Sorry, then I am no help. Hopefully others have more information.

      • Ms. Krage - Has anyone been using NoRedInk independently of Edmodo? My students have been using No Red Ink, and I'm just starting to use Edmodo. Will the information automatically sync up?

        • Nov 5, 2014
    • Ms. Tamborello - I'm not sure. Mine have all been linked through Edmodo.

      • Mrs. Olding - I'm in Canada, so I'm not sure if it's the same, but our accounts would not link. Two years ago I used the website, last year I used the Edmodo app, and this year I went back to the website. I found the app glitchy, and i like being able to look at the student results while entering them in my Edmodo grade book.

      • Ms. DeJesus - If they have an account already it will not sync within edmodo they would have to start again. I believe they have more information on the teacher resources and FAQs pages on their site. Hope this helps.

      • Mrs. Patterson - Can students save a Pre-Test and return to it later? I want to begin using No Red Ink. And, I want to assign a large pre-test, but I want my students to be able to finish it later if needed.

        • Oct 29, 2014
    • Ms. Tamborello - Yes. It will pick up where they left off.

If I want my students to complete assignments in NoRedInk, do they log into Edmodo first? I am confused as to the relationship to each other.
    • Mrs. Roblyer - Since I downloaded it, is it automatically in the students' Apps Launcher?

      • Mrs. Woods - Yes, once you install it to your groups, your students will have access through their Apps Launcher.

      • Ms. DeWan - I installed the NoRedInk app from edmodo. When I go to the HOME page of NoRedInk and click on "view students: under my class banner, I can see a full roster of students. However, if I click on "assignments", it shows that there "aren't any students" in the class. The same empty message appears in the" Progress" page. Any advice from veteran app users?

How would I go about deleting a class. I accidentally added the app to one of my Professional Learning groups on edmodo.

        Thanks!

    • NoRedInk - Hi everyone! If you have support questions, please launch the app, click "Help" in the upper right, and use that form to submit a support request. This gives us the most information about your problem and helps us resolve it more quickly.

If you have a problem with launching the app itself, or if you're otherwise unable to use the "Help" feature, please email support@noredink.com. Thanks!

It appears that NoRedInk is not responding to questions. NoRedInk, please respond to this as I do not want to download it if there is no support. Thank you.
    • NoRedInk - Hey Mrs. Galina,
If you download the app, there's a "Help" button you can click to submit a support ticket. That gives us immediate information about your account and helps us solve your problems more quickly. We reply to all help tickets submitted through that form. Thanks!

I'm so discouraged. I really started to go for it with NoRedInk this fall, knowing that some of the practices I was assigning would require premium licenses once September came. I made up my mind to just pay for the licenses out of my own pocket (I only teach 20 high schoolers in my K12 school this year, anyway). When I couldn't access some of practice activities yesterday, I filled out the premium application, wondering how much this would cost me, but determined to go ahead with it. I received an email this morning that my application was denied. That's it. Because my school is not interested in more licenses, they do not have the bandwidth to support my school at this time (well, I could recruit other teachers in our district so that at least we'd have need for 80 additional licenses, but who will pay for it?). I can't believe it. I think this means no more NoRedInk for me. What a disappointment!

      • Ms. Rodriguez - I agree. It is very difficult that individual teachers cannot buy a license. It would be great if they would do a $5 per group Edmodo app though. I think EVERYONE would buy in.

      • NoRedInk - Hi Tammy,
I saw your message this morning, and was so sad to read of your disappointment with our site. As a former teacher myself, I know how hard it can be to extend our locus of control and convince administrators or a larger teaching team to devote money to a new product. And very often, like you suggested, I spent my own money for the benefit of my kids.
The reason we couldn't accept your application is largely a factor of our small (but mighty!) team, that is working hard to stay on top of the growing traffic of both free and premium users. To ensure

    • Ms. Jemmott - If a student happened to get a code from another student and ended up joining the wrong class period is there a way I can switch them to the right class period without losing their progress?
