You can use the TestMe SAT ACT vocabulary App to help your students to access the tests and achieve higher standards. So many students fail to reach their potential not because they do not know the answer, but because they can't understand the question. Fully adaptive App complete with Edmodo Badges and downloadable certificates. A fun way to raise standards.

In response to many teacher requests we have now updated many of our Apps to create two versions: a British/Australian version, and: a US/Canadian version. Only the version appropriate for your region will show in the store, so you don't need to choose anything. This has enabled us to not only change the version of English used to suit both the learners and the curriculum requirements, but also to tailor the content more towards specific standards be they CCS, the National Curriculum in the UK or Australia and the various State Standards in Canada. We will continue this process for all our existing Apps and then publish a detailed standards document. A few linked examples of newly released Apps about spelling are below, but there are many more in the store. The UK/Australian specific versions have a flag in the top right corner of the icon. Existing customers of these Apps will receive the updated data sets automatically so existing users don't need to do anything. Bongo is always happy to receive suggestions on ways to improve the quality of our resources. We are here to support you. Best wishes The Bongo Team.

To fully access the English language you need to expand your vocabulary. This dynamic game against the computer is both fun and practical. The right vocabulary will help you understand the words used in a range of contexts. We designed the game to make learning these specialist words more fun.

The words were chosen by specialist teachers and are based upon the academic words specifically needed to access English vocabulary. With no two games the same, three levels of difficulty and a fun delivery method, a race against the computer, this App proves that vocabulary learning can fun!

Connections - Improve vocabulary with this fun App. Connections (English words version) is an exciting motivational world languages game based upon official US and International English words. learners have to connect the letters dynamically generated from a frequency analysis of the dictionary to create valid words.

This App is designed to handle both American and British English. In this version the user must create US or UK English words. The letters are all based upon random datasets, no two games will ever be the same. Letters can be connected in any direction to create a English word and earn points. The longer the word the higher to points awarded.

Is student progress reflected and saved so that the teacher can access each individual's progress?
    • Bongo LLP - Edmodo badges are awarded at each level if the student completes the quiz so tracking is achieved by the number of badges awarded. They can achieve more than one badge at each level, the number of badges achieved at each level is shown as a number under the badge. Each game is different so the badge number is significant. • Ms. Rodriguez - I'm sorry I just wanted to expand and clarify this question: Is the only way for teachers to track student progress to visit each student's profile page to view their Edmodo badges or is there a way to track progress from within the app?
Thank you for any information you can provide. Your app looks like fun :)

      • Bongo LLP - At the moment we do this by badges at different levels. We are currently working on Apps that also post to grade books and may also add this functionality to existing Apps. Best wishes Steve

About

Bongo LLP are at the forefront of “next generation learning” called microlearning which helps learners to engage in learning content. Microlearning aligns with recent research that proves we learn best when engaged in short, focused activities. Vital content is broken down into smaller, more manageable, more effective chunks which is a realisation of how the human brain is wired to learn.
