    Getting this error when trying to log in to the Edmodo version of ActiveyLearn
    There was an error. Please try to re-launch the app or contact the app administrator.
    Invalid value for 'encryptedTicket' parameter.
    I had to use the web-based version of AL and all my students had to create new accounts and Join the classes I made.
    Is there a fix?

      Thanks for notifying us and sincere apologies for the inconvenience. This issue occurred when there was a problem un-installing AL then re-installing it. It was fixed in our system a while ago, but *after* you might have un-installed AL.
      In any case, we've fixed it for your account, so can you please try logging in through Edmodo again?

    I used Actively Learn briefly with my students. Then, it started giving an error preventing me from accessing it. I cannot get past the error now! I have deleted cookies for the site, to no avail. The error presented is:

    There was an error. Please try to re-launch the app or contact the app administrator.

    Invalid value for 'encryptedTicket' parameter.

    That's all I get - no continue, nothing. I have emailed the app contact, gotten an autogenerated ticket, and heard nothing else.

      Please check your inbox for some good news! This issue occurred when there was a problem un-installing AL then re-installing it. It's now fixed in our system and you shouldn't see it again.

    I just started using the Actively Learn app with my 8th graders and we are all loving it. If my school decides to go Pro with it, can we still use it through Edmodo? Using it through Edmodo is really the best!

    I cannot get the kids to see assignments on Actively Learn via Edmodo. I first had my class of 2nd graders sign in. We tried our first assignemnt and I was learning how to use it. THEN, last weekend, I realized it was an app on edmodo. I like this better b/c it will be easier for my 7-8 year olds. I do know the web AL and the Edmodo AL do NOT link together. Since I just started this adventure, I did not add any more content to the web version. I went on Edmodo, got the AL app, and created 5 stories. On Wed. I took kiddos to the computer lab to show them how to access it from / through Edmodo. When they got there, there was not a way to JOIN the class, so I didn't know how to send them stories. At lunchtime, I was problem solving and had 2 kids go to the original AL website, log in and join the edmodo class/link # from there. Now they have 2 classes , however, when they go onto edmodo, they do not see the assignments assigned. (the ones I made within Edmodo). So, what am I doing wrong?? The kids' screen says 'no data' and no stories. Please help! Thank you.

    • Mrs. Volak - Ok, one last thing (I hope!) I just went through the reading class, I have 3 kids not in my group via Edmodo. 02, 11, and 13.
      Student 13 I just 'joined' using the web....b/c when I went on Edmodo w/ this child's passcode, it was not able to join a group there....
      still a little confused! Can you get these 3 students in?

      • Mrs. Volak - I still have 3 students who have joined AL via website, but I need them connected to Edmodo like the rest of the class. Whatever you did (above) can you do for these students. I need these 3 kids in before we start. The kids in my Edmodo group all have the Ice Cream Robot assignment, (and so do students 02, 11, 13 -- but these kids are not visible in my Edmodo class) I want to work through Edmodo only. Thank you.

        Students 2, 11, and 13 should now have access to your class through Edmodo.

      • Ms. Williams - I am having a problem with the Actively Learn app in Edmodo. When I click on the Actively Learn icon in the Apps Launcher, it loads a page that says "There was an error. Please try to re-launch the app or contact the app administrator. Invalid value for 'encryptedTicket' parameter." I would really like to use this app, but when I try re-launching the app the same message appears (and I am not sure how to contact the app administrator... or even who that is). Any advice on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated!

        Can you try now? It seems like you're account was somehow deleted in our system. Please let us know if you had clicked "Delete Account" in your settings at one point!

      • Ms. Williams - It worked! Thank you so very much for looking into it! I really don't remember deleting the account (I'm not even sure how I would go about deleting it). I did delete a few of my old groups in Edmodo recently, but I didn't delete anything with Actively Learn.

      • Ms. Samuel - I'm working on my iMac and when I click on the app through Edmodo it takes me to a log in screen. None of the information I enter works. But I never really created a username and password because I've always been using the app through Edmodo. Now all of a sudden when I select the app instead of taking me right into my account I'm stuck at a log in page. Please help asap. I've had this issue before and tried clearing the cookies but that does not seem to be working this time. Please, please help.

    • Ms. Samuel - I have a student that cannot see other students shared notes. I had her pull up her account for me today and no matter what we click on it's only her notes that are showing up.

    • Actively Learn - Hi Ms. Samuel,
      You should not be seeing a login screen if you're clicking through Edmodo! We apologize for this inconvenience. Could you try the following steps to see if it resolves the issue?
      1. Sign out of Edmodo
      2. Clear your cookies (in case you were signed in with Actively Learn with another account). To do this, press CTRL + SHIFT + DEL
      3. Logging back into Edmodo
      4. Clicking on the Actively Learn app in Edmodo
      Please let me know if this helps and again, apologize for the inconvenience.

    I am having problems highlighting text I have uploaded as a pdf from my computer as well as seeing the text from a pdf located in the url I provided. The site shows up fine in chrome, but in actively learn it shows up blank. Thanks
