    Good morning from Kansas. Within Edmodo, we're trying to access the VSC app, and it's coming up blank or with an error. Any ideas?

    The ´Ministry of education`, in an attempt to improve the quality of the English language teaching, has proposed to prioritize graduates in English philology and English translators to teach Shakespeare´s language.
    Education trade unions and teachers without university training in English have opposed the proposal!
    They believe that, despite the fact of not having specific knowledge to enable them to teach Shakespeare´s language, they are entitled to teach English. Philosophy teaching will disappear with the entry into force of the new educational system. Therefore, language teaching seems to be the only chance for those who are excluded.
    The lack of work in history and geography seems to be another reason. Such teachers have been recruited to give English lessons in the absence of art bachelors in English philology.
    However, the situation has changed. Spain has progressed and its population has increased. The new generations have become interested in languages and after studying for years at University, they are now qualified to teach English.
    The problem is that language teaching posts are already occupied by unqualified teachers who intend to stay there supported by their unions.
    Spaniards in general need to improve their foreign language skills. It´s a shame to listen to our politicians talking in English!
    Those same politicians, who speak double Dutch, are the real problem. Education trade unions are the problem.
    They have forgotten their main duty as a union, which is to improve or at least try their best to improve the quality in education.
    The unions´ only concern is to gain votes, affiliates and to satisfy the personal and economical interests of a small group of philosophy and history teachers.
    The only real victims are our children who are being deprived of having well prepared English teachers.
    Those art bachelors in English language are willing to teach them real English and not ´Double Dutch`

For instance I accessed the app fine earlier today, but now I have not been able to access the app, due to application error. I am unable to provide you with username, because the app is not working. This has been an ongoing problem.

    The past 3 days, my students have been receiving an "application error" message when they log in to Spelling City. Is anyone else experiencing a problem?

    Today when we used the spelling city app in Edmodo, we discovered that we weren't able to play ANY of the games on our ipads! Our school ONLY has ipads, no laptops. The app told us to use the iOS app, but since we have paid for spelling city through edmodo, that really isn't an option. I'm wondering if you could help?

    • Cole先生 - I'm a bit disappointed with the fact that mobile devices are not supported by your Edmodo app. As I mentioned in my previous message, our school only has iPads. If I had known that they wouldn't work with your app, I wouldn't have purchased it through Edmodo. How can I initiate a refund so that I can open an account through your website instead?

      You will have to inquire with Edmodo about receiving a refund as the purchase was made through the Edmodo store.
      After you receive your refund from Edmodo you can make a new purchase directly from VocabularySpellingCIty.
      After you add students to your account, they can log into the app on an iPad and access their assignments and Premium activities.
