    Target: Explain how the geography of ancient civilizations contributed to their culture and politics.

    Monday 13th: Students received PROJECT INFORMATION: CREATE YOUR OWN CIVILIZATION. Whole class discussion. Students has the opportunity to ask questions
    Tuesday 14th: Focused on the "GREEK SOCIETY", reading check, frayer model, and map skills (HAPPY V-DAY)
    Wednesday 15th: Continued work from previous day
    Thursday 16th: Video Segment: The Trojan War, facts from video come up with a paragraph determining you believe the Trojan War actually existed, or Is this one of Homer's epic poems.
    Friday 17th: Video Segment continued (paragraph due)

    Identify key figures and basic beliefs of the Israelite's and compare these beliefs with those of others in the area.

    January 23rd: Finish Chapter 4 Test, Remediation and Enrichment, and Read the Story of Ruth: Connect to the Chapter
    January 24th: Continue Connecting to the chapter and Video Segment on Judaism
    January 25th-27th: Group Work: Focusing on Mayas, Incas, and Aztec. Pulling out the 8 features of civilization

    This week students are engaging in many different cultures and religions.
