    As part of Healthy Schools Day in term 5 the children participated in the interhouse competition. Thus event took place all morning and children took part in one of the following events - hockey, football, netball, dodgeball, tag rugby and rounders. Oak took the sportsmanship award and Pine won the overall events trophy.

    As part of Healthy Schools Day today the year 2s learnt about control of the mind and body through yoga. We joined in some Cosmic Yoga with a Star Wars theme. The children were absolutely amazing! Well done!

    Fantastic morning learning about a healthy breakfast. Children sorted food into the groups that they thought were the healthiest. They tried 3 different varieties of muffins and two different smoothies. The children also looked at different food groups on the eatwell plate.

    Scotney class enjoyed learning about Healthy Eating! We tried some new healthy smoothies and muffins and we learned about the best food to have for breakfast.

    The Upper Juniors engrossed in Messrs Pellet and Starley's healthy breakfast video introduction. This was followed by delicious smoothies and muffins, as well as insightful analysis of cereal and drink nutrition information.
