I graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2003 and then went to Mount Olive College which is now the University of Mount Olive.  I am currently a graduate student at ECU and will graduate in May of 2015.  I knew I wanted to be a teacher after my Junior year in high school after having an amazing U.S. History teacher. She opened my eyes to the world and I too wanted to have that impact on students. I try to teach my students life lessons along with why we are where we are today because of things that have happened in the past. We must know our past in order to prepare for our future. It is a key element to student success!
