About Mrs. Aileen Jackson
Hi! My name is Aileen L. Jackson, and I am proud to be a part of the PCHS Family. More importantly, I am excited to be your teacher. I teach 3 courses in the Engineering Pathway; Foundations of Engineering and Technology, Engineering Concepts, and Engineering Applications. This is my 3rd year here in Peach County.
I grew up in the Philippines with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I went to an all-girl high school and had a cultural shock when I attended engineering school. Women were a minority in engineering colleges. Then, I worked for the industry for 5 years, mainly in manufacturing. In 1992, I was hired to teach in a university and I ended up working as a college professor for 8 years.
Then, I met my husband who is the reason why I moved here to GA. I had been married to Bryan for almost 12 years and 8-1/2 months. We have two boys; Caleb and Ian. Caleb is in 4th grade and Ian just entered Pre-K in Wells Elementary School in Jones County.
This is going to be a fun year with lots of learning and new adventures.
