I was born and raised in El Paso, TX, leaving to pursue college at the University of North Texas via the Texas Academy of Math & Science, an early enrollment program for Texas high school students. I transferred to Florida Institute of Technology, where I completed a B.S. in general psychology, followed by an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with an emphasis on training & development and personnel selection & assessment. I then completed my M.B.A. at Florida Tech with an emphasis on human relations and managing information technology. My teaching experience includes adjunct instructor for Brevard Community College - Melbourne & Cocoa campuses (teaching psychology) - and adjunct instructor for Florida Institute of Technology (teaching computer applications for business) until moving to Panama City Beach, FL, in 2006 with my family. I am now an adjunct instructor for Gulf Coast State College - teaching psychology for the Social Science department and through the Dual Enrollment program for Arnold High School in 2007 and now Bay High School. My current research interests are in personality, risk-seeking behaviors, and recreational preferences.
