About Mr. Stephen Vander Hijde

I have been teaching for 16 years -- all in 6th grade! Before I was a teacher I was a Marine Corps Infantry Officer for over 7 years. I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and currently live with my wife and two children in West Seattle.

Currently teaching math to 6th graders in a FLIPPED classroom! And loving it!
