I'm a linguist by trade, as an undergraduate student I majored in Spanish and Linguistics. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern Illinois University.

I'm pursuing a masters in Instructional Design and Technology through Walden University on a scholarship for positive social change from the Richard W. Riley College of Education, in partnership with the Korean Council of Overseas Schools (KORCOS). I work with KORCOS to lead Job-A-Like Meetings on LMS usage in schools for both classroom and administrative functions.

In 2013 I was honored as an  Apple Distinguished Educator.

I work for St. Paul Preparatory School in Seoul, South Korea as a Spanish language instructor in the World Languages department currently, though I also maintain the Edmodo LMS for our teachers, staff, students, and parents.

Additionally I am the head of an iPad 1:1 Pilot Program this year with 40 iPads between 2 pilot classes.

Our student body ranges from 7th-12th grade.
