About Mr. Roger Burdette

I teach English 11, English 12, and AP English Literature at Scott High School in Madison, West Virginia. The 2012-2013 school year is my forty-first year of teaching--all forty-one at Scott High.

I created my avatar, "21st Century Man," at a week-long technology workshop I attended a few years ago. A digital immigrant from the era when technology was called "audio-visuals," he uses many of the wonderful technological advances in his teaching, but sometimes experiences technological difficulties (e.g., his inability to edit his avartar to fit into the box).
