I have made major changes to the curriculum I've created for my English 12 Honors course; I need to now create a research PROJECT. I have been using the Understanding by Design model for all my teachings this year and would love for the project to mirror that design. Thoughts?- Dec 31, 2012

I am a fourth grade language arts and social studies teacher in a 1:1 iPad classroom. We have just started a service-learning project and we would love some support! Please follow our class blog and pass it along to as many people as you can! Enjoy :)- Nov 15, 2012

What multimedia projects have you assigned your students to prove that they have learned content? Could you share any examples here? Or Rubrics?- Jul 25, 2012

Breakthrough - One more thing. Even though we have not implemented our tools directly in the classroom, these are free tools that have been used by many teachers. One such teaching guide with Rubrics is our ICED I Can End Deportation Video Game curriculum that is standards based. Please review it in our collection.

Mrs. Wendt - I see that you have your games posted in the collection. It would be helpful if information was available to how these align with the core content standards. What standards will be met by students playing these games? I noticed one was for NY standards, but many states have adopted the common core. you can access them at corestandards.org.

Breakthrough - Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, as a small non profit we only had funding to do a standards based lesson plan for New York state for the ICED curriculum. It would be great if we could work with you to create national standard based lesson plans for both our ICED video game and our other tools, if you are so inclined.

Mrs. Wendt - This sounds like a nice project for a teaching graduate student or an intern. Unfortunately, my time does not permit me to take on any extra work , but you might want to reach out to the Instructional Technology MAIT program at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. The director is Amy Ackerman and she sometimes offers wild card assignments for the technology integration class.
