I'm interested in science books/e-readers for the elementary science curriculum that are written below grade level so my students can feel successful, and learn science concepts as well as reading strategies and skills.
    • Liz Keleher - Hi Ms. Foreman- have you posted this to the Science community? I'd suggest you do that as I'm sure there are many teachers there who have ideas to share with you!

    Hi,
Anyone aware of a subscription service (fee or fee-based) that provides an online Science curriculum/assessment tool for MS (Grades 7/8) --specifically interested in Life Sciences (genetics) and earth sciences (rock cycle)--- that would serve as kind of a supplemental or integrated "IXL" type curriculum for science? Thanks in advance for any thought anyone might have on this.
    • Mrs. Wentworth - Discovery Education has a great science site that can be part of their service.

Special thanks to the Edmodo staff and members like you, we now have a working document of teacher-created public Edmodo groups. For security reasons, no group codes appear in the spreadsheet, only Request to Join URL's. So you can share it with your colleagues, and group moderators may approve new members. To reflect this revamped spreadsheet, we also have a new submission form to use when you create a group that you would like to share. Don't keep this one to yourselves....spread the joy and stay connected! - Kristina Holzweiss, The Laptop Lieberrian

Looking for videos for student and teacher use around the Common Core Mathematics Standards? Then "Common Core with Mr. Almeida" is your solution!

Mr. Almeida shows that mathematics makes sense. He creates videos aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Each video title begins with the actual Common Core standard number followed by a phrase that summarizes its content.

Grade level playlists are available to the right on the main page "Common Core Math with Mr. Almeida."

Please share with as many teachers, students, schools, and districts.

    Enjoy!

For TIE Feedback forms- make sure to access from the "TIE 2012 Feedback Forms" folder in every session group on the right. The original link that was posted on the wall doesn't seem to be working.
    • Ms. Shirk - Hi Liz, I was planning on evaluating my sessions and the TIE conference this weekend, but it looks like all the links are closed down. Any ideas of what I can do to still evaluate?

    • Liz Keleher - Hi there- sorry for the late reply, I'm in San Diego at ISTE. Please contact Kim McMonagle. Thanks!

So....are we going to get a TIE badge for all of our hard work and diligence?
    • Liz Keleher - We hope to provide teacher badges soon! Our hard-working engineers are swamped with all the new features they are constantly developing, but rest assured we know the importance and are working on it!
