Mr. Almeida shows that mathematics makes sense. He creates videos aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Each video title begins with the actual Common Core standard number followed by a phrase that summarizes its content.
Grade level playlists are available to the right on the main page "Common Core Math with Mr. Almeida."

CALLING ALL BEGINNING TEACHERS!!!!!!!!
I created this group called Beginning Teachers. It is aimed as a platform for beginning teachers to help each other out, chat to each other and swap resources.
Please feel free to invite other beginning teachers (approximately 0-5 years experience.) We currently have members of the group with 6 and 7 years experience, so we are not very strict on experience! Also if you have twitter/other social networks, feel free to pass on the message. The more, the merrier!!

McGraw-Hill Education/Number Worlds - sounds like a great forum to x-change ideas, best practices. i work on the Number Worlds program and it's always interesting to see different perspectives of novice and experienced teacehers. Like that you're including teachers with some more experience, too, as both gps have something to learn from each other.
