Is there anyone in the Chula Vista District that can help me with Grade Cam. The company isn't being very supportive and I'm having major problems.

- Mrs. Williams - Are you using the edmodo app or going directly through the gradecam.com web site?
  I had problems with the app, but then I switched to the web site and it works great!

- - Mr. Smith - They told me to delete the cache but it didn't work. Anyone else have an idea how to fix it.

  - Mrs. Williams - yep, that's what they told me too.
    Then they asked what browser I used. I told them I had tried it on Explorer & Firefox and Chrome AND on 2 different computers.

  - Mr. Lemberg - I have had nothing but problems for the last two weeks (within edmodo). I made a new account for just gradecam outside of edmodo so I could correct my tests (you get a free 3 month trial) and it works.

- - Mrs. Williams - When you try to log into Grade Cam, notice that there is a little question mark up in the right hand corner. If you click on that, it will open a dialog box so that you can report your problem directly to them.

    But when he came to my room, I could not access GradeCam :-(

Will gradecam export grades to edmodo? What is the point to having it linked to Edmodo? thanks!

- Mrs. Case - Mrs. Browning, I just love my Gradecam app!! Yes, the grade cam app does automatically import the grades into the Edmodo grade book. You do not have to enter students' names. They are already there and are given a student number for them to enter on their bubble sheet. If you laminate grade sheets and allow students to mark with a grease marker, you can reuse the forms...saves copies. I love that I can also use multiple versions of a test too. The item analysis is a great feature too. It shows a bar graph for each question and also for overall class performance. Hope this answers your question.

  - Mrs. Case - I just use the app through Edmodo so I am not familiar with the ipad app. As far as I know the Edmodo apps won't run on ipad.

- GradeCam - Right now the GradeCam iPad app is not able to work with the Edmodo app but we're working on it.

Mrs. Browning to GradeCam

I just bought the app. I can't get past the email verification process. When I try to log in through edmodo I get a server error. I have an iPad and a MacBook. Will I even be able to scan with either of these? I also downloaded the app for the ipad.

- GradeCam - Hi Mrs. Browning. Did you buy the app through Edmodo? If so, you need to launch the app through Edmodo. Unfortunately the Edmodo app store prevents us from linking a regular GradeCam account with an Edmodo account, so if you purchase hear, you need to use it hear.

I have a question...if I applied the app to my new students this semester, do the student numbers start over? I thought I would be able to see the numbers before I scanned their tests?

I need to know if I can be credited with the app that I've already purchased and can just pay the difference for the upgrade. Looking forward to using the regular version. :o)

I have been charged with trying a pilot of Gradecam in our school. However, we are not planning on purchasing the cameras. All of our teachers have iPad, so we thought we would try them before purchasing cameras. Can you tell me if any of you have had experiences with the current App in the App Store? Any positives or negatives to share using GradeCam in this manner? Thanks in advance

- Dr. Dick - I have not been able to use GradeCam through Edmodo with my iPad. I don't think it is possible.

- GradeCam - Unfortunately the ipad app doesn't work with Edmodo due to limitations of going through the Edmodo store. We're trying to resolve a work around.

- Mrs. Mintner - There was an issue with the App update and it wasn't working correctly. So, GradeCam pulled the App for now. :( It was working great for me prior to the update. It didn't store any data, but it allowed me to give a 'first grade' to students while in class so they could have an opportunity to get a better score. I hope they get it running again!

Earlier this year, I bought the Edmodo app (starter) for 5 classes, but now I would like to get the regular version. Can I just upgrade and pay the difference? I really haven't been able to use the starter version like I thought I could and would love to just have the regular version. :o)

- GradeCam - Hi Sandy, you'd have to ask Edmodo as we don't have access to anything regarding billing or sign ups in the edmodo store.

Mr. Fowler to GradeCam

I manually input the test key when prompted to do so, but then it asks me to scan the answer document, where it mixes up the answer key and asks me to make any corrections. Am I doing something wrong? I would think that if I manually input the key, scanning the form shouldn't cause the key to change... It tells me the camera has problems scanning...

- Mr. Fowler - I think I just figured it out- When I create an assignment, I enter the key, then it asks me to scan their answers! I didn't realize that's what it was asking me to do. Then it will give a summary, correct? I think I'm with it now.

The email address used is associated with a different GradeCam site. Please contact technical support if you continue to have this problem. I received the message above when I purchased Gradecam and tried to login with my existing username and password. Do I need two separate accounts?
