I started posting this link only a few days ago and the response has been wonderful. In case you missed it the first time around here it is again.

Over 7,000 hits in only 7 days!!!

Hope you and your students enjoy this as much as we did putting it together.

I want to find some good research for my state rep. to explain the importance of how many variables could be happening to students on a test day that would lead a student who should do well to possibly not do as well. Such as didn't get breakfast, didn't sleep well, home life problems etc. Do you know of a good peer review article that would communicate this well or many a good search word? I am hitting a wall.

This is a great community. I am an NMSU almun and could not expect less. Any chance anyone can make a learning game for ham radio? It would be a good addition.
    • Mrs. Morgan - Our radio club would be interested in a learning game for ham radio as well.

    CALLING ALL BEGINNING TEACHERS!!!!!!!!

I created this group called Beginning Teachers. It is aimed as a platform for beginning teachers to help each other out, chat to each other and swap resources.

Please feel free to invite other beginning teachers (approximately 0-5 years experience.) We currently have members of the group with 6 and 7 years experience, so we are not very strict on experience! Also if you have twitter/other social networks, feel free to pass on the message. The more, the merrier!!

I thought it would be a good platform to help each other out. The Join URL is:

    • Teresa Perles - I've sent you a request. I'm not a beginning teacher (about 20 years experience), but I think beginners might benefit from more experienced teachers, and I'm willing to help if I can
