Sorry, my computer just crashed. To answer the one question not in the information I just sent you about polar bear extinction.
We hope polar bears won't go extinction and believe that people around the world can make a difference and change that end point. But we need to act now. Here is what our Chief Scientist says:
Over the course of my 30 years of polar bear research with the U.S. Geological Survey,
I witnessed profound changes in the arctic ecosystem. These changes----including warm temperatures and dramatic sea ice losses---- threaten the very survival of polar bears.
But it's important to remember that we still have time to turn this around. Hope remains.
