Hi. I have 16 years of experience teaching high school English. This past February, after being out of work for over a year and a half, I was hired as a yearbook adviser/journalism teacher. I had the lovely task of assembling a 64-page softcover yearbook on my own in four weeks. I'm new to Edmodo (as of today). SchoolTube, Inc. - @Mr. Isaak, Are you trying to upload the videos through the SchoolTube App on Edmodo? Or are you uploading them at SchoolTube.com? I can contact you directly if you don't want to troubleshoot through this portal? Please let me know.

Hi! When we use the edmodo app, the uploaded videos are only view-able to the edmodo groups we share them with, correct?
We have some content we need to upload, but only want our students to view it.

SchoolTube, Inc. - @Mr. Lampard, The SchoolTube App on Edmodo allows you to upload videos directly to your Edmodo Group; instead of uploading at SchoolTube.com and embedding the video on your group. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mrs. Misiano - I have one on this topic. If I use the SchoolTube edmodo app, then those videos I upload there will only be viewable in edmodo, correct? But I use the same username and login as my regular schooltube.com account, right? So if I have something I need to keep visible only to my student groups, I can use the edmodo app?

Mrs. Misiano - Ok, so as per @SchoolTube's reply above, when you upload within the Edmodo App, the video only shows on edmodo and not on your SchoolTube channel, correct? Just making sure. Thanks!

SchoolTube, Inc. - @Mrs. Misiano, If a moderator uploads a video, the video should appear on the Edmodo Group, and on SchoolTube. The video should appear on a channel if the Moderator has a channel created. Are you seeing something different?

Mrs. Misiano - No, I have yet to try using the edmodo app. What I am looking for is a way to host the videos on ST just to show on edmodo, so they are not visible on the Channel.

SchoolTube, Inc. - @Mrs. Misiano, You can manually select what videos you want on your channel in the Manage Channel area then press Channel Videos. The uploading process wont change, the video will appear on Edmodo, SchoolTube and your ST Channel, but if you follow these steps the video wont appear on your channel. Another option is selecting the video to be Just My School, the video will then be viewable to only users registered under your school and logged in to SchoolTube. Do the above options make sense?
