Is there a way to turn off "friend requests" so that my students do NOT receive these requests from others who are not in their class? Please let me know. Thank you!- Feb 22, 2013
-
BrainNook - Hi Ms. Bobula, absolutely! Please click on the "Change Settings" link at the bottom of the screen in your teacher account. You'll see a checkbox to "Block friends outside same class". Select that option, and your students will no longer get friend requests from (or be able to send requests to) children outside their class.

BrainNook - Hi Mrs. Babish, is it an option for you to remove all the old students from the group for which you have BrainNook installed, and add the other set of students to that group? BrainNook will automatically update its student list with the new list of students.

If this is not an option, you might try asking Edmodo support to move the BrainNook installation from your old group to your new one -- BrainNook doesn't control that directly since it's part of the Edmodo platform. Once the installation is moved to the new group, BrainNook should update its student list automatically.
