Resource Documents for Literary Elements through Music.
They could easily be adjusted for any subject area, just find the right song.
Could be a great project for the kids to design their own song or re-write one they like.

This is my first year using edmodo, and it has been very successful. Has anyone used edmodo with the Flipped Classroom?- May 10, 2012
-
Mr. Healy - I am attempting it slowly -- basically, for ESL classes, I create grammar lectures on Educreations and link them to Edmodo, as well as uploading extra work, assistance, and practice. This has freed up class time for more practical application of the material we are learning, and addressing their needs.

-
Ms. Brown - Thanks for the information on Educreations.
- May 10, 2012
-
Mrs. Majeski - I'm starting to use it as well. It's ideal for posting videos--if, of course, your school district allows the students to access videos. We aren't able to YouTube, unfortunately. There's a lot of good stuff out there.

CALLING ALL BEGINNING TEACHERS!!!!!!!!
I created this group called Beginning Teachers. It is aimed as a platform for beginning teachers to help each other out, chat to each other and swap resources.
Please feel free to invite other beginning teachers (approximately 0-5 years experience.) We currently have members of the group with 6 and 7 years experience, so we are not very strict on experience! Also if you have twitter/other social networks, feel free to pass on the message. The more, the merrier!!
I thought it would be a good platform to help each other out. The Join URL is:
