Thanks for joining the Learning Games community!

The Learning Games Network, recently launched Quandary, a unique game that encourages kids to think ethically. In Quandary, players aged 8-14 shape the future of a new society while learning how to recognize ethical issues and deal with challenging situations in their own lives. Players must make difficult decisions in which there are no clear right or wrong answers but important consequences – to themselves, to others in the colony and to the planet Braxos. Players develop skills such as critical thinking, perspective-taking and decision-making. Quandary provides a framework for how to approach ethical decision-making without telling players what to think.

We are looking for teachers to try out Quandary in the classroom. We would love your feedback! We have suggestions on ways to use Quandary in the classroom, but we would also love to hear any new ideas. We are happy to help in any way.

Please let me know if you are interested or want any further info. You can email me at ldunn@learninggamesnetwork.org

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Lindsey

    • Mrs. Nann - Is there a way to enroll students in group via Edmodo? I would be using it with students under 13 years of age.....Any suggestions?

      • Dec 1, 2012
    • Learning Games Network - Hi Mrs. Nann,
Could you give us a little more information? What subject do you teach? Based on your subject we can provide some ideas on how to implement Quandary into your class. Edmodo is a great resource to use along side Quandary for further discussion on ethical dilemmas. Unfortunately, there is not a way to sign students up through Edmodo. You can just go to the website, and kids can play as guests. Let me know if we can help in any way!
We would love to hear your feedback!
