Khan Academy is especially helpful in reinforcing subject matter. I teach 8th grade science (physics and chemistry), and the videos are very helpful to show another perspective of the material. Our math teachers find it also helpful.- Jun 12, 2013

I need some input from some Computer technology Teachers out there. Attached is a google document I'm working on, trying to figure out the process of taking 3rd grade students with very little knowledge of computers, within 4 years be able to do armature programming, to the point of actually creating APPS.
This is very time sensitive since there is a large private grant on the line, so please give me input, or PM me your gmail address so I could share the actual document with you.- Jun 10, 2013

I have found this to be a very valuable website for creating student achievement certificates. I love being able to show them how proud of them I am. They love being made to feel special.

Hey teachers, I am going to be "flipping" my science classes next year and our school will have 90 minute block classes every 8th and 9th day. These two things will leave a ton of room for labs, investigations and inquiry projects. I am developing a more Project-Based Learning curriculum this summer to go along with the Flip. Sooooooo...I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some long term (multi-day to multi-week) projects that give the kids more inquiry and depth to the material? == I teach High School AP Environmental science, Earth/Space Science and Biology== Thanks and have a great, restful summer!Hey teachers, I am going to be "flipping" my science classes next year and our school will have 90 minute block classes every 8th and 9th day.
