Since the new gen glogs came out, we are having problems with uploading images and inserting videos. It will upload the image but takes forever to appear in the image file. sometimes not appearing until we log out and relog in. This is happening several times, different times of the day and different students.- May 10, 2013

Glogster EDU - It's often a good idea to try clearing the caches on your browser. There is a lot of information being stored, and sometimes this "gums up the works" on your computer. We are working constantly to make the NextGen run faster and more smoothly.

Doris Spencer - not the issue here our pcs have deep freeze whicj erases all new data when you close out. this happens on several different pcs including my home pc.

My students created their accounts today and I didn't realize that mine expires in 11 days! Does it mean that students' accounts will also expire in 11 days? How can I keep their glogs and accounts?

Glogster EDU - It depends on how many students you have. If you have more than 10, the rest will be inactive. We have some great plans, at much better prices than before, and you can upgrade easily here: http://edu.glogster.com/product-information?u...

For some reason the magnet does not appear when I create a new glog. Instead I'm getting a menu bar with extremely limited text and graphic options. It does not matter whether I use a next gen template or a re-glog. The magnet does appear when I open one of my older glogs. Is anyone else having this problem?- May 6, 2013

Glogster EDU - We haven't heard of this problem. What browser are you using? Have you tried another? There may need to update Flash, try a different browser, etc.

Glogster EDU - Clear the cache and reload the glog editor. If it happens again, you could do us a big favor by taking a screenshot. We are not able to simulate the problem, so we don't know what might be causing it (whether it is a problem in your browser, or your network, or in our system).

I'm trying to add a link to my glog but when I right click to paste a link into the bar, my only option is to print...what's going on with that? I am having to hand type url's (which is maddening) and then it tells me it's unrecognized. Help!- May 5, 2013

Ms. Dulaney - Try going to Support (red circle with question mark in communities) to ask about using the link button, but in the meantime, I know that you can post directly into your blog and it will create a blue link that pople can click onto as a temporary resoution.

Mrs. Hargrove - Thank you! I tried clicking just on the page itself to add the link, but I don't get a 'paste' option when I right click. I've used glogster for years so I have no idea why this is suddenly happening...I'm going to go try it on a Mac and see if that helps.

Glogster EDU - Mrs. Hargrove, the newest version of Flash does not support right click for security reasons. You can still use Control V (Command V on mac) for copy paste.

Mrs. Hargrove - I tried control v but didn't have any luck. I finally just opened a glog I made on the old version and it worked just fine. I'm not sure I'll be using the new version...it's not nearly as user-friendly. I'll just keep cannibalizing my old glogs whenever I need to make something new.

The classic Glog engine can no longer be supported, but we will be focusing all of our efforts going forward on making the NextGen Glog work better, faster, and more smoothly.

Ugh! Frustrated. I just had my students create their first Glog on an endangered species using their Spanish this past Friday. They saved their work and today more then half of their Glogs were gone. Amy Librizzi - No I did not. Because of our time constraint in the computer lab, I had them go to "plan B" and create a Prezi instead. Each student created their own accounts, so I can tell them now to go and contact Customer Care to help them out for the the next time.

Mrs. Filip - Hi, each bullet point is a poster made by a group of students who used the templates Glogster offers:-) Maybe they were not very creative but their task was to find information on a chosen topic and present it in the form of a digital poster which includes: video or audio recordings, photos, text, links etc.
