  Some of the HTML5 APPs do and some don't as the iPads have limited memory and graphic capabilities. The Flash based games will not work on an iPad without using a special browser such as Photon. We also design games specifically for the iPad such as connections but these are available through iTunes. Whilst the iPad is an excellent tool it does not really fully replace desktop or laptop capability so as a developer we are faced with a dilemma of functionality vs compatibility. We tend to decide App by App based on pedecological requirements and teacher input. If you tell me what specific Bongo Apps you are looking at I can tell you if they would work or not.

  We have added a new cool App - The Wizards Potions Class. It is a fun memory game specifically designed as a healthy workout for the brain. It is designed to improve students memory and concentration abilities, in a fun way of course. We hope you will like it.

  We have just added a new HTML5 planning and flowchart tool with an Education twist to the App Store. Its called Big Planning. We have been working with groups of teachers for a few months on this so we hope you all like it. If anyone has ideas for new icon sets that would add useful classroom functionality please shout out.

    Mrs. Paszko - I have a student who says he earned 530 points, but strangely earned no badges. Is this possible? I can see when he logged on to Edmodo but I can't see when they are playing the game or what his results are.
    Other than this issue, we are having a blast with the game and the kids are competing to get the longest word in Spanish. I love it!

  By popular request we have added an Edmodo integrated version of Sudoku. Fully dynamic and at three levels it issues badges at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels for completed puzzles. We have also developed it in HTML5 so it will run on tablets and desktops. See All About Sudoku in the Edmodo store. Have fun.

  We have been experimenting with Photon to run Flash on the iPad and it seems quite good. It's a real dilemma for developers like us, whilst we develop HTML5 resources as well as Flash the security and flexibility needs further development to match what we can achieve with Flash. I am very interested in any other Flash browsers teachers have successfully used on the IPad in class.

Students have to connect the letters dynamically generated from a frequency analysis of the dictionary to create valid words. The App is available in English, French and Spanish languages,. The letters are all based upon random datasets, no two games will ever be the same. Letters can be connected in any direction to create words and earn points. The longer the word the higher to points awarded. . Each game also has three Edmodo badge awards, Bronze, Silver and Gold, but only for the best students with the highest scores.   It is now 50 years since the Cuban Missile Crisis. We have developed a new App for the Edmodo store which contains 60 hours worth of teaching and learning resources in a single place. And it works on all computers even the iPad! Hope you and your students enjoy this, its taken over a year for us to develop this.

  I'm new to apps in the Edmodo store, so if this question seems obvious, my apologies. My students access Edmodo on iPads. Will they be able to play your games on Edmodo on an iPad? (It hasn't worked on another company's app, so I'm cautious now.)

    Bongo LLP - We are developing new apps for iPod use, but the Apps in the store at the moment use Flash and this does not work on the iPad without other software, so always best to ask before buying any particular App if your class use iPods.
