Mr. Picardo, people look far too much in names. Web 2.0 companies don't have to have names that mean anything :) ed is for education, your correct, modo is just a play off the popular gadget site http://gizmodo.com and i liked the ring to edmodo :) plus i could get the domain
Come to think of it... what tdoes EdModo stand for? I take it Ed is for education... what about the Modo bit?
That's pretty funny! Sadly neither one of us are "Edward Molina Dosantos". We are Jeff O'Hara & Nic Borg, but may have to change my name now :)
I just wanted to shared something that one of my students posted...
She has been very enthusiastic about Edmodo, and kept thanking 'Edward' in her notes to the group. I eventually asked who this Edward was. She replied:
"Mr.COPLEY! EDMODO !!! why wud sum1 name a website EDMODO if his name is not EDWARD MOLINA DOSANTOS! ? or something similar liek tht? ???!!!!!!"
Ha ha ha! I'm stilling giggling about that.
I don't suppose any of you guys behind Edmodo *is* called Edward Molina Dosantos?!!
Only teachers can put events or assignments in a clendar. Students do not have that feature.
Yes of course, but can anybody put an event in the calendar? I mean the party event for example? or how we can control this kind of events...

Mr. Pacheco, when you post an assignment or an event, those items go to your timeline & also get posted on the calendar.
I dont know who is Ms Frazier yet, we are testing edmodo here in mexico, we hope help us in the class, I dont know how I can control de calendar or if is a incorrect message, thanks a lot
Mr. Picardo, Thanks for posting this. We will get it fixed.
the "browse" button in the attach a file mode has dissapeared (although it still works). I am using Safari.
Woo hoo - a party! What should we bring, and which school is it?
Ms. Frazier, did you send this to the wrong group? or are you just testing out edmodo?
