I am a high school Spanish teacher at Denver High School, where I teach Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Spanish 3.  I am a strong believer in using effective technology in the classroom in order to support a learning environment that meets the needs and expectations of today’s students.
Social media plays a large role in the lives of our students and being able to take advantage of available technology allows me as a teacher to connect with the always changing skills of my students.
Most of all, I feel that teachers cannot ignore the digital lives of today’s children and schools need to nurture a technologically relevant and effective learning environment.
