I didn't have many good experiences in school...my peers were mean, teachers even worse (I sat in a refrigerator box called the "dog house" most of the time) and I HATED reading! Go figure that I spend most of my time in a classroom as an adult and I LOVE reading.
I teach to allow kids the opportunity to see how fun learning can be and that no matter who you are you can learn ANYTHING!
