I am a life-long learner and have a drive to help make others life-long learners. I love many subjects, most of which fall into the Humanities (History, Arts, Philosophy, etc.) and believe in civic awareness and action. I believe we are our own advocates for our needs and interests. If we don't seek them out, then no one will. I hope my students can discover that learning can be fun, if only you approach it from a variety of perspectives.

I have taught 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies which largely consisted of Prehistory through Renaissance World History, and Renaissance through Post-Cold War Era World History with some Geography, Citizenship (Civics), and Economics thrown in.

I currently serve as the 8th grade Social Studies (World History), 9th grade World History, and 9th grade Oral Communications/Drama teacher for our College Prep Academy for the 2012-2013 school year.

The technology aspect of my classes is not held through Edmodo, but through our Social Studies curriculum: TeachTCI.com. I have posted additional resources for my students and other teachers through Edmodo.
