Welcome to High School and to our English I class! It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you this year. We will dive into works of literature where we will explore character traits, plot twists and turns, and the different themes and messages authors want us to know. We will also work together to improve your writing skills and begin to develop a well formed thesis and what it takes to support that thesis. I have high expectations and will challenge you with class activities and assignments. It will be hard work, but I will be there to help guide you through it all.
