About Mr. Afek Taragan

I teach 8th grade math in the MYP academy at Plaza MS.
Currently I am teaching both Algebra and Geometry.
I like to integrate technology into the curriculum where it fits well and enhances the subject. Aside from extensive use of graphing calculators, we incorporate motion detectors, software for geometry constructions (mostly Geometer's Sketchpad and GeoGebra), Scratch programming, Excel spreadsheets, Google SketchUp, etc.
