About Ms. Angela Sellers
I am excited to be a part of the Camdenton High School staff.
In, January of 2009 I began working for the Camdenton R-III School District as a substitute teacher/paraprofessional. I began working as a business instructor at Camdenton High School in November 2010. This is my 7th year in education.
I am a proud to be a part of such a fine district and am honored to be able to spend this semester or year with you. When I moved home to Missouri I was determined to return to my dream job of teaching, but the only district I was going to work fro was Camdenton R-III.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Based Information Systems from Park University and a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Central Missouri State University. Since graduating I still continually work on expanding my teaching abilities through reading, research, workshops and teaching.
Prior to enter the teaching field, I worked in Information Technology industry for approximately 10 years as a help desk analyst, programmer (in a variety of languages some which few have heard of), and as a business analyst. I taught for 4 years in Raytown, MO at Raytown South Middle School. Then I returned to the corporate sector to do training and curriculum development for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). This work was not rewarding, which is why I decided to return to teaching.
I am blessed beyond words with two wonderful sons (Aiden, 5, and Ethan, 3 1/2). They are my pride and joy! In my free time I enjoy attending church, facebooking, boating, reading, going out to eat, shopping, as well as, traveling.
I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families.
