In this technological society we live in, it's imperative that we teach our students critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Today's workforce requires students to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Technology Design and Innovation, the course I teach to 7th and 8th Graders, requires students to use technology and engineering to solve problems. It's very rewarding to see the ideas today's students have to try and solve these issues such as pollution, structural design, natural disaster rebuilds, and medical issues.
