This is my fourth year teaching seventh grade English at Monroe Clark Middle School, and my twelfth year in the classroom. Previously, I taught seventh, and eighth grade English at Mann Middle School. Before that I was in Cajon Valley Union School District, teaching seventh grade English, and all subjects in sixth grade.

Outside of school, I am an outdoor person: running, hiking, horseback riding, taking photos and studying natural history. Indoors I like to cook and READ. I am married to an attorney. Our daughter is also an attorney at her dad's office and has a year-old daughter. Our son works for a motorsports dealer in El Cajon. My stepson and his wife also work for my husband. They have two kids, seven and 2. We all have homes in El Cajon, except our son, who lives in Alpine. We spend lots of time together, both at home and traveling.
