I began my teaching career teaching general education elementary school. I have taught in San Diego, Malawi, and Thailand. l began teaching special education 3 years ago at the moderate/severe high school level. The following year I taught moderate special education at the middle school level. This year I am learning something new again and teaching 7 grade math and the Read 180 program ( both SDC classes) to 8th graders at the mild/moderate level and social communication to 7th and 8th graders. I teach at Eastlake Middle School in Chula Vista, CA. I am eager to learn how I can use the iPad, Edmodo, and other technology in my classroom. I am also always seeking new ideas to use in the classes I teach. I look forward to connecting and learning from other educators around the world.
