About Mrs. Portia Johnson

I am a Beaufort native who is new to teaching fifth grade but not new to teaching. This is my fifth year teaching and my previous years involved fourth grade. I'm excited about teaching at Lady's Island Middle School in Carolina Down, Social Studies. I graduated with two bachelor degrees in education from Columbia, South Carolina. I am a newlywed as of March 24, 2012, to a wonderful Graphic Designer from Mississippi. I'm excited to meet all of my students this upcoming 2012-2013 school year.
