About Ms. Mona Pinon

I teach 9th and 10th grade English at Channel Islands High School. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Education at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 1998. I graduated from Oxnard High School and was raised in this community. When I returned to Ventura County after college I earned a Reading Credential as a supplement to my Secondary English Credential. I still live in Park West, the same neighborhood where I grew up here in Oxnard. I am looking forward to a successful year with all of you.
