Mrs. H Philosophy:
I focus on the 5 Cs— Communication, Culture, Comparisons, Connections, and Communities.
In order to promote language acquisition in a diverse student body, I aim to focus on the oral and written communication skills, in order to increase my students ability to understand and present information. This ability to communicate can then foster their abilities to draw stronger connections within the world as a whole and to individuals with diverse cultures. Students will also focus on gaining knowledge of and appreciation for other cultures and their accomplishments, while comparing those cultures and languages to their native culture and language. With this knowledge, students can gain a greater understanding of the world, and they can contribute to making the world a better place.
I have found that the greatest help in meeting any problem is to know where you yourself stand.
Mrs. H.
