Hello, Belton High School! My name is Mrs. Kelly Brown, and this year I will be teaching Advanced College Prep English II and College Prep English II. This will be my 24th year in the Belton School District, and I plan on it being the best year ever. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Northwest Missouri State University, so I am a big fan of the Bearcats. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, reading, and watching football. This year I will be cheering on the Belton Pirates, the Blue Valley Tigers, the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats, and the Kansas City Chiefs! This school year I am looking forward to meeting all of my new sophomore students, learning more about technology, and embracing the changes at BHS. Go Pirates!!
