About Dr. Wayne Ackerson

I am a social studies teacher at Whale Branch Early College High School, and I work in the TCL program. I was born in Texas but have lived in Maryland for the last 32 years before moving to Beaufort.

I earned both my BA in History/Psychology and MA in History from Salisbury University, and earned a Ph. D. In History from Temple University. I love all aspects of history but especially like ancient history and British history.
