I teach fifth grade here at LaFontaine Elementary. I graduated from Asbury University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Indiana University in 2009 with a Master of Science in Special Education. This is my ninth year of teaching. I have taught for the previous eight years in Kokomo, six years as a special educator at Central Middle School (5 yrs.) and Lafayette Park Elementary School (1 yr.); and two years as a computer instructor at Central Middle School & Maple Crest Middle School.



I am very excited to be here at Lafontaine Elementary School. My dream since graduating college has been to have my own elementary classroom. I am excited at what we will be learning this year and watching the students grow as students and inquirers.
